I have a Gaia subscription and use the GPS on my iphone, but it's small when using it in my vehicle. I have an Ipad air 2, but it's non-cellular version so it lacks the built in GPS. What are the best ways to provide GPS to Ipad so it can be used for navigation? FYI- this is a link to the video of my truck navigation support setup (includes a front camera install as well):

Any bluetooth GPS. Dual, Garmin Glo, Bad Elf, etc. Or an Garmin Inreach, if you have one, can by the GPS unit for your iPad.

I can attest the Garmin GLO2 Bluetooth GPS receiver works really well.
This is what I am using for now until I grab an InReach unit. The GLO2 works really well.

I just ordered the InReach Mini. Will test it out with my Ipad mini 5 and see how it does. I'm really looking forward to having a bigger screen to help with navigation
