Hello,

Call me Jake. I have always loved camping, and my three young sons are now at an age where they enjoy the outdoors with me. I bought a Toyota Tundra and have been slowly outfitting it for us to go on adventures. So far mostly playing solo in the mud, camping, and fishing with the boys. I believe I am finally outfitted to be able to take on Overlanding. I look forward to connecting and becoming part of a group adventure.

I have been camping and backpacking for 20+ years. I have been actively off-roading in Southern California deserts and mounts for a little over 2 years.

I recently moved to just outside Reno, Nevada.

A picture of my rig in progress is below.

Hey Jake!
I just joined the forums.
Nice looking Rig.

I bought my Lunar Rock Tacoma 6 months ago and slowing building it to start exploring the areas around Reno/Sparks.
Maybe one day we can meet up.
I've been starting a list of areas to try out around here... and checking out some as well.
Here's my Taco at Pyramid Lake last week.
*First time there*

Same! With the rain coming in tomorrow.
I’ll be heading up in a few weeks to try out a trail by Verdi.
Definately let me know, I live 1 exit east of the Verdi exits. If I am around (heading south for Turkey Day), I would love to join you.
