We're taking a trip East this weekend, compliments of a shotgun wedding to attend. I want to stay a night en route in the Painted Hills area.
The goal is to do our first actual dispersed camping night. I understand that we are gtg as long as we are on USFS/BLM land and not on the monument boundaries. Does anyone have experience out there? Any suggestions?
I have paper maps and docs from blm/usfs stations as well as maps and boundary add-on for Backcountru Navi Pro on the mobile.
