Heading to the Gap

  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

My wife and I are loading up and heading for the deals Gap area in TN. We are taking the jeep and taking the bike via a trailer. My question is this. We will ride one day then explore in the jeep the next. We are looking to do some exploring, looking for water falls and good day trips off road. Any suggestions would be great! We are leaving June 5. WE love combining both of our hobbies when we take longer trips. We thank you for your help in advance.

I have ridden the Gap a few times on my bikes. Love that place, be safe. I have never taken a 4x4 up there but I am sure there are plenty of trails to explore there, especially down by the river.

My brand new 2003 Suzuki SV1000S. That was a fun way to break-in the bike on the Tail of the Dragon.
