Heading down to Joshua Tree

The wife and I are off to Joshua Tree next month. Instead of my Tacoma, we are taking the comfortmobile, Rex the Winnebago Revel. It is 4WD and I have upgraded tires, wheels, and suspension well beyond stock MB, but at its core we will be driving an fully loaded Sprinter van.

We will be staying at the Cottonwood campground and heading out for day adventures. Does anyone have suggestions on where we should head to. Nothing to strenuous, this will be the first real test of Tex’s capabilities and we are heading out alone. So no keep trails or the like.
