Ham radio problems

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but i recently purchased a tyt th-9800 amateur ham radio and im having problems with the software to unlock all the frequencies. Any help would be greatly appreciated because im about to the point that im gonna take it out of my truck and throw a $300 radio in the trash. Thanks in advance for any help

Have you tried the steps shown HERE?

What do you mean when you say "unlock all the frequencies"?

Sorry i should have specified. Open all of the LEGAL frequencies. For some reason it comes with a narrow band of frequency from the factory but has a paper in the box stating what you have to do to unlock the rest of the legal frequency. I got it worked out though. It ended up being a software issue on the computer and finally got it fixed. Now i have access to the NOAA weather broadcast channels which is one of the biggest thing i use it for right now.

Yes. I finally got it to work. It ended up being just a small “glitch” on the laptop side. Got it figured out though and now i have access to the NOAA radio frequencies and the rest of the legal frequencies we are allowed. Thanks for the help though.
