So just a general question... any feedback is appreciated!

Does anyone ground their rig while camping?

maybe I'm missing something, but why would you?
That’s what I’m wondering... generator?

We ground fuel trucks during refuel because the fuel moving through rubber hoses generates static electricity... and 50,000 gallons of fuel getting sparked wouldn’t be fun. But a normal rig... I don’t see the point.

I can't think of any legitimate reason to spend the time and effort needed to do so. You'd need to carry around something like an 8 foot copper rod to do it properly and many areas I doubt you'd get it far enough in the ground due to rocks, roots ect.

We grounded all of our aircraft when they were parked but that's a whole different beast there.
