While doing a little digging around for some info. on the GAIA GPS app. I found a 178 page User Manual from May of 2017. I've only glanced through it but it appears to cover just about all the features of the app. It's in PDF form and too large to attach here. If anyone wants a copy, I can e-mail it to you.
It is available via the Gaia support website.

Here are the links:

I would recommend the online help center vs the PDF Manuals because they will likely be more current.

These are good resources as well:

I use Gaia GPS and I really like it. I haven't experimented with many other apps really but in my experience Gaia does everything that I need it to.

I used Gaia GPS on our Mojave Road trip and really liked it's functionality and the Nat Geo maps. I had it running on both my Google Pixel XL and my old Samsung Tab 7 inch. The tablet is running Android 4.1.2 and while it worked ok in February it's getting pretty tough to run Gaia on it. No fault of Gaia, 4.1.2 is a very old Android OS. If I continue to like Gaia I will probably upgrade my tablet to the newer Samsung Tab A just to have a bigger screen then my phone.

It's crazy to me that Garmin doesn't really make a dedicated large screen automotive GPS unit that allows for both Streets and Topo maps. You either have to to go with a Motorcycle based Zumo or a handheld Oregon type unit. The 276cx is the only thing in their lineup that comes close. I have an 11 year old Garmin Zumo 550 that has the lifetime maps and still works which is saying something these days. However, a bigger screen would be nice. End of Rant..LOL

I must be the only one to bother with PathAway. I dunno, I like it. I'm cognitively invested in it, too, and I don't want to learn a different one.
