Going to Ouray

I'm leaving for my first ever trip to Ouray Colorado on Sept 8th. Im so stoked to hit the trails and see real mountains. Im from SW Missouri, 900ft altitude so this is going to be awesome. Any must do spots?

Sadly Imogene is closed to through traffic at present due to some bridge issues.....

I just saw that. I guess you could go from Ouray to the Tomboy mine and back. from Tomboy down to Telluride , you wouldnt be missing much.

I believe the bridge has been repaired and is open now. Going up 9/26 for a week.

Ran into a guy on Saturday who had just left Ouray. He said Imogene was still closed due to bridge and was told there was no date scheduled for reopening.
