Tomorrow it is my girlfriends birthday, unfortunately we are both working (me working night shift). But next Thursday we will getting a Darche Panorama 2 Roof top tent and a foxwing awning fitted to my Dualcab landcruiser. Then later that day or early the next day (depending on time it takes to fit) we will be driving 1000km'ish to Lorella Springs http://www.lorellasprings.com.au/

It should take us around 10.5hrs to get there roughly.

The trip will be all about testing out the new RTT, seeing how 'Tank' my big dog goes camping outside alone (he normally sleeps in the tent with us) and just relaxing, photography and maybe some fishing.

I will post more photos as things eventuate. And maybe try and do up a youtube video.

The next day we spent a bit of time exploring the many tracks and waterholes.

With the $20 per person per night price tag there are many boats and kayaks that are free to use as often as possible.

I am sure Tank is very Croc Wise.

A slight trickle still ran over Tear drop falls.

But the water had gone nice and green, great for the fish that we saw but not for us swimming.

At the top of Teardrop falls we found a swimming hole, the water was very refreshing.
Here is a shot of a plunge pool that we were unable to climb down to.

Even in this pristine environment we found rubbish discarded, I took the photo and then picked up the cigarette butt to place in the bin at camp. Some people truly are lazy.

Cooking time, the night before I showed my friends how to make an easy damper. Tonight it was their turn.

Now to cook it on the coals.

While the damper was cooking I set up my DSLR for a timelapse, it got over taken by tiny green huntsman spiders :)
