Gaia to OnX Off-Road vs OnX Hunt - National Forest Maps? Confused…

My Gaia GPS 5 yr membership ends soon. I was intrigued to play on my daughter’s phone with her OnX Off-Road app, with the premium (not elite) subscription. I was looking at the web site and it showed all sorts of layers one can add to the map, like the National Forest Maps. However, we could not seem to figure out how to load any of that on her phone. After mucking around their confusing web site, I am thinking that feature may only be available in OnX Hunt and NOT in the OnX Off-Road app. Would I really need TWO subscriptions to get those nice map features and overlays? Seems like a possible deal breaker for me. Thoughts? I really like having all the overlay maps in Gaia. Will I just have to cough up the big bucks to keep them?

OnX Offroad had 3 maps types, Sat, Topo and Hybrid and there are a couple toggles for I believe ownership (who owns the land) and fire. I couldbe off on the toggles as I have not looked in awhile. This is on an iPhone.

I do not see me getting Elite again, do not need to see owners and boundary of properties......

So then, the National Forest Maps are only available in OxX Hunt? The plan comparison pages give no indication of those features.

I have elite on both hunt and offroad, the national forest is not a map but an overlay. I was able to find the layer on OnX hunt to toggle it on and off. I was not able to find an overlay toggle on the offroad app but I still have the overlays of government lands. here is the overlay in Offroad. all the green overlay is national forrest, I the yellow is BLM land.

That overlay is on OnX Offroad, I think the overlays are standard....

Still some confusion, which is where I started. The screenshot below implies there are “forest visitor maps” of the national forests in OnX Hunt. That little icon on the right looks like a snippet of one of the many printed national forest maps I have.

I see this NOWHERE in OnX Off-Road. Is this correct?

I have both Gaia and Onx. Gaia has so many more layers to choose from. I am not that impressed with Onx personally.
Yeah, I think that’s the conclusion I’m drawing. For some reason, I was thinking the Gaia subscription was much higher than it actually is. I have no issues just renewing for the current price as it’s not too far from OnX. Plus, I use all those extra layers in Gaia and they keep adding new ones, some that I find quite useful.
