Fridge Transit Covers

Has anybody had any luck fitting an aftermarket cover over a Dometic fridge? I have a CFX28 now, and saw how a hot car can effect it's performance. The fridge's display read 60°F! (At least my water was still actually cool!) I looked at the Dometic cover for it but it's $100! :hushed:

The Dometic cover DO NOT insulate. Per Dometic's tech people.

I have a dometic cover on my CFX3 55, it def does not add any insulation, purely a scratch and damage protector. My only complaint is the lid cover in my opinion is a little large over the release mechanism and seems floppy.
