Is there any groups on here or on facebook for locals to meet up and get to know each other. I am new to this whole thing and am building my first rig right now. I plan to hit the TAT solo this year as my first overland run. But it would be nice to find other people who are into overlanding to talk to and learn from.

There is atleast one group on FB. I'm up the road in Savannah GA but I check out the Florida overland group from time to time to see what I can learn or find out. I'm sure there is more then one group though!!
