Traveler III
Hello everyone! As the title says I'm a new-ish OB Forum member in Southern California. I lived in northern SD County previously for about 8 years, been away 8 years and now I'm back. At least for the next couple of years. (Lots of "years" there lol) I am not new to the automobile enthusiast culture on the West Coast! Previous vehicles brought me to many car club meets, events, cruises, and twisting SoCal mountain roads.
I'm driving a new (a year old now) Tahoe Z71 and interested in getting into some softroading and light overloading. Most of the week's driving is going to be on the freeway. I know it's not a GMT800 or GMT900 but why not take an expensive pavement princess dad wagon off road? Maybe someday there will be a GMT800 or GMT900 or K2XX build in the driveway... I'm in South OC now, so probably a regular visitor of South OC Cars and Coffee at the Factory Outlet San Clemente. I plan on checking out the Rigged For Dirt OC First Saturday meet up.
