Recently picked up an Exit Outdoor pellet smoker. Runs off of a 20v battery that is usb-c rechargeable. Have been using it now for almost 3 weeks almost every night to make dinner. It has been able to cook up some amazing food. Battery doesnt last the boasted 10 hours, will still run for plenty of time to smoke what you need. I ran it two days in a row without charging, total of abouy 3.5 hours, and it was down to 1 bar on the battery. It does also come with an AC adapter if you have an ac outlet, the power consumption is quite low.
smoke output is much better at lower temps. Im still messing with it to get as much smokey flavor as I can, since it doesnt have an adjustable vent you cant trap smoke inside. I started doing burgers and chicken around 190 an the smoke flavor was really good. This just takes a while to get food to temp. I do really like it, it keeps the temps very stable, better than most traegers and pit boss smokers I have seen. One of the best parts is that is collapses down extremely small. Its about the size of a plane carryon suitcase.
