Dispersed / Random Camping in or around the Revelstoke Aria.

Hey, I am heading to the BC Overland Rally and need some local BC advice? I will be hoping to leave Calgary around 6 pm Wednesday evening and was hoping to stop for the evening in or around Revelstoke.

I was wondering if anyone had good ideas for a backcountry camp spot in this area? I will be getting thair around 10 or 11 pm so something not too far off the highway would be nice but I am pretty open?

Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried google earth? You can usually find pictures of some camp sites, it a good start, there or the back roads map books, I can take a look when I get home and post a snap of the area if that helps.

These two look best, from what’s on iOverlander, the dam is another one, but it’s not as nice looking.
