Yes it's allowed but it's very restrictive, basically there are public forests throughout Denmark where you can park and sleep in a tent. You need a special map to find the camping areas as they are few and far apart. Up the north west side of Denmark you can drive and camp on the beaches, that is popular in the summer.

If I’m right it’s not allowed in general but there are some spots like parking lots at marinas. If you follow the rules, watch out for signs and don’t upset locals you should be good.
Try to contact Kim, OB#22513 @Holst , he is from Denmark and should know better.

Wild camping in vehicles is not allowed.
The public forrest in wich you Are allowed to camp, you must park the car and walk in, to set up a small tent .
There Are parkinglots where RV's can camp for a fee, most of Them Are just tarmac, and not very interesting. ioverlander app and park4night app showe you these spots.

But some will say that the definition is wake. You Are not allowed to camp, but it is allowed to take a rest, if you Are to tired to drive on.

We have plottet the back of our lawn on the map, for OB members to use.

Land Rovers owners can use www.freecamp.dk with a lot of places through out Denmark, and Europe.

There is also another website as www.brugminbaghave.dk you can find a spot in someones garden. We haven't used this, but it may be usefull.
The shelter app show you shelter spot in Denmark, must of them you are not allowed to drive into, but many places it is possible.

Wild camping is Hard in Denmark, unfortunally, because it is a beutiful country.
