Hi all. Would Death Valley be a good trip to plan for the week between Christmas and the 2021 New Year? We would be coming from North Texas.

Hi all. Would Death Valley be a good trip to plan for the week between Christmas and the 2021 New Year? We would be coming from North Texas.

I suspect, like many wilderness areas that close to the California coast, and that have become destination spots more than ever before for adventurers across the country, that the week between the holidays will see a dramatic increase in numbers of visitors.

All depends on what you're after, I suppose.

Holidays, weekends, and spring break are when I head to less popular areas if hoping to find an unencumbered experience and solitude.
