Hey All,

Thinking about doing the Corral Hollow Trail, I've never been. It seems like a good trail with some awesome views. Is now a good time to go or would May be a better time?

I'm pretty sure the road up that direction is still closed down due to snow. But I'm not 100% sure. Your best bet would be call the ranger station for that area.

If you guys set a date far enough out I'll try to make the trek up there!

FYI
SNOTEL is showing about 5 feet of snow at 9000 feet just down the road. Corral Hollow goes up to about 8000 feet. And that would not be any drifts in the trees.

Good trail, has a good camp site above the ski run and some farther west along the ridge. I think I have been through in early June, but I can not remember how the snow pack was that year. You should be able to see when someone goes through on pirate4x4.com or ih8mud.com, or ask through guys on those sites.

We went up to Slickrock and Corral Hollow last weekend , May 14. Both trails were impassable due to snow , I'd give them 2-3 more weeks before they melt out ....

Slickrock side near Alpine lake ...
