Thanks so much for the great information.OB official CB is channel 11, local channel is 21 and/or 22
the official OB ham frequency is 146.460, official calling frequency is 146.520 (and most non OB members monitor 146.52 for simplex)
GMRS is 15 like Steve said, except Washington has repeaters on channel 15, so we moved to channel 16.
Most people here on the east side are running 2m amateur radio with GMRS backup.

Thanks for the great informationI have found that most folks are going GMRS.
CB is nice to have in the truck if you see a logging sign telling you what channel the trucks are on.
If you are not with a group , not sure what to tell you on what to listen too.
I usually have the radio set to a HAM repeater and sending out APRS (GPS) data when I am out by myself.
For OB trips we run GMRS 15 and HAM 146.58
