Colorado Springs, Trail Time

Currently in Colorado Springs. Looking to do some trails / routes around the area Thursday onward. Open time table for about a week or possibly more here. I'm not in a rock crawler but the lifted Forester continues to surprise me.

CB, FRS/GMRS for comms, full recovery kit including compressor/s, full sized spare, full nav setup with GPS and Gaia, ready to go.

I'm ending a very long road trip and just want to get out and explore again now that the car is empty of all our camping gear and light as a feather. I have some guides for the area but would love to meet with some people to go.

I was stationed at Ft Carson in the late 80s and early 90s. We used to head west into the hills and drive until we found a quiet spot to camp. I miss those days of heading out with buddies with no plan and no destination.
