My last trip needed in a totaled vehicle, thankfully my and my dog walked away unscathed. I am looking for another rig, could be built up, but does not need to be. I’m open to options, I loved my Jeep xj for its size and wheelbase. Looking for anything similar and maybe a little bigger.

How perfect is that - only 2 states away, a larger vehicle, in your price range, nicer than an XJ when it comes to comfort, just as good off road and it looks like a clean slate to work with.
