CB tuning help?

Hey all, I just got a Cobra 75 installed, and after a bit of research, sounds like i need to tune it with a VSWR meter. Can anyone recommend a place to have this done, or walk me through it? Where can I buy or rent a meter for cheap?

The attached is copied from a UK CB suppliers website 4x4CB. Irrespective of country settings etc., the principal of tuning a CB antennae is the same.

You can buy a swr meter for $15. Very easy to do yourself

I got mine from radio shack years ago but I’ve also seen them at pilot or luv truck stops. I would say anywhere that sells cb’s would have them and there pretty cheap. You will also probably need a patch cable to run from meter to radio.

I bought this one. It came with easy to understand instructions. I'd never done it myself before, but discovered it was quite easy. Only took a few minutes.
