If anyone can help me out, I signed up for a trip and the next day it is not present on the map or rally point anywhere. Does this mean it is canceled or they don't want me to go? or ? I'm still new to Overland Bound so I'm a bit confused.

Likely the trip has been cancelled.
I doubt it is personal.

Conditions are changing by the hour.

There’s been an issue with the software. Lots of trips aren’t showing up on the rally point map, so the original poster is canceling the post.
 
Every event I had planned for this year, save one, has now been canceled ... Can't say I'm not disappointed, but there's really nothing I can do to change it. C'est la vie.
