As I continue to add components to my JKU I am starting to worry about the ability of the stock Jeep battery when out on the trail. Currently I have:

KC 6” Pro sport gravity LED lights up front

Warn Zeon 10-6 platinum winch

KC Flex LED in the rear

Cobra CB radio.

Importantly I am looking to put in a ARB compressor that will also draw on the battery. My question is what have people found to be a good battery to use to avoid problems out on the trail? I really want to avoid a dead battery while out on the trail. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I went to the optima website and it said they have no batteries that work with a 2017 JKU. Not sure what kind of rig you have.

I'm in a 2004 tahoe Z71, but I drove a 1987 jeep wrangler YJ while in the Military for a commuter. Buddy worked with diesel gen sets and ran red tops in them..he had an extra and we installed it in the YJ. Worked great and never had any issues. Had from 2005 till 2012.

Look at the Odyssey batteries high quality AGM battery. They are a little $$$ but worth it in my opinion.
