A little over kill but I wanted it extra strong

I've used channel nuts from Fastenal, they slide into the roof rack grove & secure down


in this pic they hold LED's extremely well, I have 4 LED's on the roof & they havent moved one bit


I'm sure they would also hold an awning

The awning does have a channel that bolts slide in to.. That's how it's mounted to the bracket
