Atoto A6 PF in Toyota

Has anybody installed an Atoto A6 PF in a Toyota before? I ordered one for my 08 FJ and am curious about your experience. Was there any trouble getting it to work or was it pretty straightforward? Any special wiring to be aware of? Was a canbus necessary? Thanks.
