ARB Awnings

Does anyone have a tip for extending an ARB awning solo?

Here's how I set up the awning solo. I've only done this when it isn't windy, so be careful if in windy conditions.

First I unzip the cover, loosen the velcro straps, and roll the awning up on top.

Then I swing out the horizontal supports wide enough to clear the awning material, and pre-adjust them to approximately the right length. (Ignore the awning rolled out on the ground. This was for photos back when I first got the awning.)

I then unroll the awning, insert and tension the horizontal supports one at a time (while holding the awning up with one hand), and then fold down the legs and adjust. I'm, only 5' 8", and can do this on my Outback and now much higher on my 4Runner.

I have a lifted Tundra and I'm on the shorter side of 5'8". Here are my steps:
1) unzip and unvelcro
2) unroll the full length
3) walk it out and lay flat
4) insert the side poles and lock them one at a time
5) raise up the legs and lock them down one at a time
6) I hook my guy lines to some cheap D rings and clip them on and stake them down
