  • Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

Hey so I’m looking too get out of town sometime this month and go do a ooottoe adventuring. Anybody know any good routes on the eastern/central side of Oregon that would be accessible without fighting too much snow?

Most of the Backcountry Discovery Routes are covered in snow. However, there are lots of gravel roads to explore near Hells Canyon. You might have a bit of snow at times to spice up the trip (see photo), but typically less than 4 in at the deepest. Great place to explore this time of year.
