Any trails still open

  • Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance this week and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

As the title states, looking for any trails that are still open for the next couple of weeks in North Carolina for some light off-roading as well as camping. I think Old NC Hwy 105 stays open, but looking for any recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

I hit Old 105 a few weekends ago. Lots of good campsites along the “trail” - more like a gravel road. Not at all difficult. Forest Road 106 offers a little more rough road, but is not difficult either. I’d like to go back when the weather is clear to stop and see the views.

Yep, made a couple trips up Old 105 last month. Great camping (some with great views too if you're lucky).

Forest Road 106 might be worth looking into. Thanks for the recommendation.
