Hey guys, just picked up this little pathfinder recently, lots of plans. Will update as things progress.
First things first, needs a new clutch, and need to pull apart the engine and redo gaskets and check for any damages. Has a slight tick, thinking lifter or valve. Also picked up a parts truck for a few of the exterior parts, such as spare tire rack, fender flares, mirrors, hood, and trying salvage the passenger fender. Next month trading whatever's left of the parts truck and my doors for all four manual doors and a few other pieces. Eventually I want to go SAS and a TD27 turbo diesel swap found in the wd21s in European and Japanese market. Also plan on 4"-6" of lift, and 33" tires (including 2 full size spares). Looking into building my own tube front and rear bumpers as well as rock sliders. Wanting to do a rooftop tent, but leaning towards building a trailer to pull behind with tent, kayak, and a few other bits of gear. The rear I want to cage into 2 adjustable cages (one for gear, one for dogs). Plan on doing 360 degree lighting as well.
