4x4 Sprinter Van

Just got back from Colorado/Utah in my Wrangler and was wondering if anyone on here has experience with the 4x4 Sprinter vans? The jeep did great in the mountains and desert, but it would have been nice to just stop wherever and not have to set-up/unpack. ~4000 miles in 9 days and we have longer trips coming up. James Bay road/Trans Tioga, Alaska, Washington (All from Indiana). Two or 3 adults with 2 big dogs in a jeep is not going to work well.

Here ya go. This is Grant's second 4X4 Sprinter build, and he's used it on the beach and some pretty rocky trails. He could probably give you some insight, or point to a group of like minded owners.
