Hey OB community, I wanted to see who has experience with the XREAS Suspension on the 4runner. I have a 2007 4Runner Limited with XREAS. I currently have the Daystar 2.5/1.5 spacer lift. 173k miles, no leaks and feels firm. But, this setup is limited in regards to suspension travel and articulation.

So, my question is what have you replaced your XREAS Suspension with and how does it compare as far as the ride quality?

Thanks in advance for any shared experience with this system.

Icon suspension, converted to coil springs in the rear. Way better travel and no worries about a failure in the air bags or air lines.

Nice! Thanks for the info.

Mine has coils and Xreas struts on the rear. I think the airbags were an option, but mine doesn't have them. Did the airbag model have Xreas?

Around the 350 to 380 thousand KILOMETER mark. Before the swap, the 4runner started to "Wiggle" on bigger bumps. At times there was something like a bump steer feeling, but not from the tires. It was the body moving on the suspension. After the swap the wiggle stopped and it was firmer. Road handling was sporter, and off road with aired down tires felt like a boat nicely riding over wave with a sway, but firm and under control.

I will watch out for those symptoms. Thanks for sharing your experience and info. I appreciate it.
