3 days off where to go!? 04/27-04/29

Hey guys and gals... i happen to have this thursday through saturday. Wierd jobs i know...

Anyways, looking to hit up the western sierra but most of the places i usually go to are under snow right now. (Wentworth springs, Loon lake, lake alpine, and a few other higher elevation locations.

Looking for some opinions on where to hit up some very lonley camping. As far north as hwy 80 and south as far as fresno area. Just need to know it not under snow... thats the main criteria. Thanks in advance and anyone is welcome to join in as well though i know 2 days in advance is really short notice.

I know its north of Hwy 80, but have you thought about the Mendocino National Forest?
They have many different campsites around the forest and this early in the season you'd easily be able to find a place all by yourself.

Right on... i might just have to go high or low. Medocino or death valley.... hmmm.
