Well just bought the wife a Forester and she wants it not to look too much like a soccer mom mobile... Any recommendations for places to start looking for upgrades?

Thanks in advance for the guidance.

You can never go wrong with a roof rack or a set of beefier tires to start!
Tires are great starting points!

I would do your research on roof racks as there are a lot to there that don't have ideal load ratings depending on what your intentions are. If I were to reset, I would have done tires and lift first--in lieu of spacers I may have done the Ironman 4X4 kit.

@jkxranger feel free to check out my Forester XT build. I realize there is a generation gap here, but there might be something with ruminating over.

Your XT link sent me nowhere, but I recognize your photo and love your setup!
