Nothing really of substance to post up, but some small updates...

-I'm excited to be getting out this weekend to the Talladega National Forrest for some wheeling with the local Ford Ranger scene.
-I've got an Alpicool 48 quart fridge/freezer inbound that will be here Thursday.
-I may have won some camping gear; including a solar generator and portable fridge/freezer. I'm waiting to hear back because I don't actually believe I won! HAHAHAHA
-I scored a FREE window AC unit that will eventually be modified to sit on my tailgate and cool my RTT on those blistering hot August nights in GA. It was free and it runs! (But damn, it sure looks ugly!)

Yay! I won another fridge! Right after I bought a 48 quart Alpicool, I won a Dometic CFX28!

I also used the truck to move my boat to it's new storage location at our local marina. I'm really happy with how the add-a-leaf kit handled the trailer weight!

And then Sunday I attended an event in Atlanta called Skottles & Bottles at the Sweetwater 420 Brewery!

Your truck is looking good, but I think you should take all that money you saved on refrigerators and buy larger, more aggressive tires. :grinning:

I'm excited/unexcited.

I'm leaving for a trip from GA to NJ tomorrow, and while pre-flighting my truck, I became unhappy with my tires (factory Hankook Dynapro 255/65/R17). There is no time to get new tires on the truck before I leave at 3AM tomorrow morning, so I've gotta run what I brung. But, I have a set of Falken Wildpeak A/T3w - 275/70/R17 waiting at a dealership in NJ near my destination to be installed Friday morning. So, for my return trip from Nj back to GA, I will finally have a tire that fits my truck!

When I won the Dometic fridge and Jackery solar generator, I also won a ground tent! I don't need a ground tent though because I have a RTT, so I ended up trading it for a CVT Summit Series awning. I love it! I ended up stuck under my awning today (I just got it and installed it last night!) out in a heavy rain storm and I was sure glad to be dry!

Had a fun trail day with some fellow GA area ranger owners! The day started out pretty nice with a starting run on Tray Mountain Trail. We had lunch next to a really nice creek; it was perfect and cool under the cover from the trees. The next trail we hit was Popcorn Creek Trail, and it started nice with a more technical drive, but then the skies opened up on us with a heavy thunderstorm. It got interesting at times!

With fun comes responsibility! A couple weekends back, I went on a trail ride with some local Ranger guys (see the past couple posts above). My truck got sloppy muddy, but it was fun! We were having a deck built and the construction team had a load of lumber stacked in my driveway, downhill of where I pressure wash my truck, so I couldn't flush all of the mud off her...

...until this weekend! I cheated though; I pressure washed all of the mud off the truck and then took it down to the corner car wash for a hand wash and vacuum. Only problem, that I didn't notice until I got home, is they broke my GRMS antenna off. Arghhhhh. And the wife has declared an "all stop" on spending with out deck project reaching completion.

I love "before & after" pics!

WHAT A BLAST! I took a day trip from ATL, GA with a local Ranger guy to meet up with some of of the FL Ranger folks at Nemo Tunnel in TN. We got there really early, wheeled around for awhile, and even helped out a Jeep Gladiator that had a suspension issue on the trail (aftermarket part). As we were airing up to head out, the FL group found us at the trail head! The Ranger with the light bar above teh cab is my buddy's, and the Ranger with the Aussie tag on the front is mine.
