Hi Everyone,
I sold my 73 k5 blazer to get into something more practical for work and just picked up a 2001 Ford Ranger extended cab that is 4x4 with 118k miles.
My vision for this thread:
Document the process of learning to become self sustaining for shorter to longer trips. Whilst maintaining a stock appearing vehicle for construction work purposes.
I'm going to try and focus on getting out and not on big vehicle modifications and excuses of not going on trips.
First on the list will will be get familiar with vehicle, maintenance and day trips.
Among things I want to address is lack of gas tank skid plate, and tow points.
