1 month west coast trip

I’m currently trying to plan a 1 month trip to the west side of the states. I live in north Alabama and I want to make a horseshoe starting the trip through the southeast United States(like Texas), driving along the southwest and driving up to the northwest then heading back south east. I think my turn point to head north is around Las Vegas. My next point to turn back east will be Seattle. I have a few places I want to hit in between but with this being a month trip I don’t want to miss anything. I plan on going spring/summer of 2020. If anyone has any routes recommendations or places to stop at please let me know!
