Got some geolander tires for the Subie. Can't wait to test them out in Alabama Hills in 2 weeks.

I was actually looking for something that might be able to go inside the car to transport out, so key things would be smell and leak proof.

Wanted to see what solutions you guys have come up with transporting garbage after packing the site in. Trasharoo looks like a great solution but does not work for people like me that do not have a tire carrier. Anyone come up with any clever ideas?

Installed a CB radio, pretty happy with the placement.

Picked up an Ozark Trail 52 Quart cooler, and Wilson magentic mount 36 " antenna And my amazing GF ordered the "PRESIDENT ANDY AM USA 12/24V " CB radio for my birthday.

My number one suggestion would be a good set of tires and some skid plates. Primitive racing makes great set of skid plates for Subaru and Yokohama geolandar a/t g015 is great tire with good on road and offroad manners.

The Rig and the trip looks amazing. I was wondering if the way your rock sliders mount would be applicable to the SJ forester platform with some modification of course.

I actually ended up picking up the drone for dirt cheap of BHphoto. Got a refurbished phantom 3 advance from their used section for 300 bucks.

Those are very good points and sums up what I am thinking really well. I think the primitive rock sliders would work well if they had at least one central support mount in the middle. The goal is not to use this for rock crawling but to protect the pinch weld and the doors in case I misjudge a...
