Funny you should mention that. I have two young ones. I want them to be involved as much as possible and explore the outdoors with me, even if that means exploring for 30 seconds for a “potty” break lol.

So I know this question has thousands of answers and depends on individual experience but I’m still curious. When route planning, what is your typically daily distance for non paved road travel?

I like some thing like a coffee and rigs type of meet up. Not sure where every one is located but maybe some where central since I’m sure non of us are bringing high MPG vehicles.

So I’ve started route planning for a trip at a date to be determined a cross the Mogollon Rim between Morenci to Camp Verde. Wondering if any one has done some thing similar and has any suggestions. I’m still an Overland noob so I’ll take any and all advice and input. Thanks all!

It would be great to establish some thing. Hopefully we see some interest in here and can work on setting up a meet.

I’m still very new to overlanding and haven’t invested in any upgrades to my truck yet. I’ll be rocking a ground tent until I get some more experience. I’m hoping this forum will be a good way to join a local group on some runs and gain some knowledge.
