Very cool rig! I have a 2011 LR with no mods. What wheel and tire mods did you do, and how do you like them? How have the all terrain tires affected road noise and mpg?
I agree, too. I have a GB Wildlife Hatchet that is superior to every other axe or hatchet I've owned. Superior in that it's well balanced, it came sharp and holds an edge, plus the grain was perfectly aligned.
I have a small Gran Bruks hatche and a larger Snow and Nealley axe. For a few $ more the Bruks is a much better blade.

REI sells a lot of brands that are decent and moderately priced, but if you're going to be in pouring rain for hours, spend the money to get double layer Gore Tex, if not triple.

I agree. I've had a Kingdom 6 for over 5 years and it's been a great family tent. Not built for 4 season, extreme weather, but good for 3 season use.
