Last rig item I purchased would be JL taser Lite. Still waiting for it to arrive.
Next on my list would be the Dji mavic mini and/or the Rugged Ridge Snorkel for the JL.
I’m in Vernon! More into exploring for good camp spots than rock gardens and deep mud. Here is my rig - #Ferristhejeep - I move the tent from my trailer to the Jeep depending on type of trip and if it’s just me and the dog or the whole family! Would be up to having a meet up to chat about...
That is an amazing looking build!
Did you use plywood for the exterior walls?
Are you going to put a roof rack on? If you do, are you able to mount it into the frame of the box ?
Can't remember if I posted my Jeep JLU Rubicon on this thread. Moved up from a 2014 Sahara JKU in June of last year. Still have lots I want to do with it. Next is the Mopar Lift and then 35" tires. My current Toyo's are 34" on 18" Fuel Beast Rims - so it's a minor size change. we tow a Woolly...
And this past weekend we did a test run with the kids. We have a 10 day trip thru Washington and Oregon next month so we need to see how everything fit. It was tight and we need to cut back. We only had 2 of the three kids. And now we have a dog, so looks like the Jeep won’t be doing the trip...
Went on a couple of short trips the last two weeks. First was a night at the BC Overland Rally at Sasquatch Mountain in the Hemlock Valley British Columbia. My first Overland Rally (not my last) and it was great to see all the vendors and people with the same interests. Took my new Wrangler JLU...
Ok, installed the Wild Coast Tent onto the WoollyBear trailer. First impressions of the tent are that it is a very high quality tent. The fabric is very thick. It came with two flys, one with windows the other without. The annex is great for extra room, my tent is just mounted a little low so...
Sold the tepui. Sundog from Wild Coast Tents has arrived at the shipping company. Can’t pick it up until next Thursday as I’m travelling!

Was able to spend some time on the trailer this last week.
Mounted the tongue box to the trailer. My daughter (she loves working with me) and I then installed the battery, a blue sea fuse box, master power on/off, a Genius 10 amp batter charger with plug mounted on the outside of the box. And a...
Finally found some time to work on the trailer tongue. Cut off the welded on coupler and then added a 24” two inch receiver and bolted on. I’d like to weld it on, but don’t have the tools. May look into it. Trailer is only 800lbs loaded up, maybe 900 max, so I’m pretty sure it’ll be ok. Then...
While I’m trying to get the trailer ready for the upcoming season, needed to start with some planning of what and where we want to go in 2018!!
