I don't have a Jeep, but I do have an Iceco VL60 dual. It's a great fridge in all ways, but it's definitely BIG. In addition to the dimensions you mentioned, when it is open it is a full 36" tall. If it's sitting on a folded down seat, you may not have enough vertical height to open it.

I have a Whynter that has been running nearly non-stop since 2009. In the truck I use it as a fridge, and at home I use it as a freezer. The only problem I ever had with it was when I broke one of the hinges.
