Nothing funnier than watching people get stuck at the entrance to 4x4 Corolla. Its always a treat to see the various inappropriate attempts to hit 12N. I like this post but I feel like there is a lot of negative judgment against new people trying the outdoors. None of us own the outdoors...

GAIA all the way. The layers are invaluable. Just keep your electronics charged. I love a good paper map but it doesn’t track where you have been like GAIA.

Agreed, mine came in this week and I was super stoked! I couldn’t believe how heavy the badge was! Quality stuff.
