Have you thought about maybe using a solar powered exterior perimeter light. They sell them everywhere. Maybe attach a magnet to the base so you can mount while stationary and remove it when rolling out.

So I got my ARB awning in and I ordered mounting brackets but they will not be here in time and they are $20 a piece. So I decided to DIY the crap out of it. 3 steel shelf brackets and 3 u bolts from home depot.. approx $30 bucks Used a step bit to bore the holes out a bit and mounted it up...

Well we picked her up last Saturday. Started to do some things to fit our needs. Raised the rack up over the last two days, so now we will have a bit of head room. Added some angle iron for the support of the rack. Annex and awning install are next.

We have managed to make it from Missouri to Florida over the last year with a pandemic and a several month stint camp hosting at a state park in GA.
