1998 4Runner 3.4L Automatic with 176k miles. I've had it for almost a year now, but we just upsized to a 100 Series so the 4Runner's got to go. The interior is very clean, seats are in great shape. Steering wheel is somewhat worn. The exterior is where it has it's faults. It was left in the sun...

Even though this is my least modded truck, to this point, this photo taken by Earthbound Overland is by far my favorite wheeling photo of myself. I don't take many pictures and wish I did more, so I never have many of my own vehicles.

I'm going to try and get myself back into a small commuter car, so I can modify the 4Runner however I wish. Due to a slight fender bender, I picked up an ARB Bull Bar. Rode around like this for a couple days while I was cutting off and replacing the crossmember that I bent (front skid mount)...

Nothing lasts forever, I soon started getting away from "Whatever gets me the best gas mileage" mentality... Put on a more aggressive, slightly larger tire. And added a flat roof rack. 235 duratracs

After all of the maintenance and a few mishaps, I had it DD friendly for the drive to Chattanooga everyday.

My interest is still high. April is my goal for having our house (see also foreclosure project) on the market. So if I meet my goal I think we'll be in attendance. As long as there isn't a deadline for registration that I haven't seen.

Meh, I mean it's not like it could be not fun right? Wheeling and camping with people who enjoy the hobby (*see also addiction) has to be a good time just in principle. Haha I didn't see an early registration sign up discount so I'll probably ride it out until April gets closer honestly...
