Past 4 years I have been using a Boker Vox Rold 6" fixed blade. Has a single grind blade that holds a good edge thought a couple trips. Can hold high on the knife for finer work and a little back to chop smaller branches and such. Sheath sucks but the knife itself is great for $100.
I am interested in doing the same. The Coleman is tried and true but in bigger groups we have to have two going and the fire pit becomes a warmer.
I like the idea of being able to cook large amounts of food without multiple pots and pans. But at three bills it's hard to justify.
Love the WABDR. We run different section and tried the entire length but never made it all the way. Think all the stops to enjoy the views may have something to do with it. That and sleeping in and having a full breakfast every morning. We did see a cool mine just south of Concully I believe...
