After tons of research, I finally came up with, what I consider, the perfect mounting location for my Yaesu FT-7900. The mount is a behind the seat mount for an ARB dual compressor from 813 Designs. The best part is, I did not have to drill any hole. Now I wait for the antenna and power cables.

How does a member get points for completing the course?

Picked up a Jeep Gladiator just before Christmas. Looking to get some side armor and comma installed on it real soon. Any ideas on where to install a HAM radio would be appreciated. Also looking to install a GMRS radio. The plan is to have it ready for a few quick trips this spring.
