Anyone using a small microwave when car camping

I put this one in my 5x8 overlander trailer. 600 watt. installed a 2000 watt inverter. Works perfect. Small and simple manual controls. no electronics to go out.

Has anyone checked out OnX Offroad yet?

Yea. I didn't word it correctly. I know about offline etc. I have used a few apps and programs to get me where I want to go. I'm just saying that some people are really smart and want to spend a lot of time finding all the little nuances with a program like Gaia or others where some of us just...

Has anyone checked out OnX Offroad yet?

I've come to the conclusion that there are those of us that are way more technical minded when it comes to GPS and electronic mapping etc. than those of us that are old school map readers and having somewhat minimal GPS related knowledge for being able to know exactly where you are on the map...

Has anyone checked out OnX Offroad yet?

I have onx offroad and like it a lot. I have heard that onx hunt does show the same trails etc. that onx offroad does but I am not sure. I would like the feature of having the names of land owners in case you wanted to get across and area with permission. I'm thinking of getting the Gaia app...

Inexpensive but works very well. Small and fits just under my steering wheel on the plastic panel on my Jeep JKU. out of the way but easy to use.

Jeep tires and rims on the trailer

I don't know why you need a new axle. You can either buy the adaptors that you need or new wheels and tires. With the adaptors you use your jeep wheels and tires on the trailer and you are able to interchange like you want to do with the spares etc. That is also what I am doing. The adaptors...

Jeep tires and rims on the trailer

You don't need custom made adaptors. I guess I'm a little confused now. If you haven't bought wheels and tires yet then just buy the right wheel that will fit over the hub. You can also buy with different off sets to fit the axle. I"m not seeing a problem any longer now that you said you are...

    You tube Overlanding

A lift is not always just for clearance. A full suspension modification also allows Wheel travel, articulation, smoother ride and more. I think your 4.5 inch lift should be fine as long as all the other components are correct for the lift. Like Trailing arms, Shocks, Sway bar disconnects, etc...

Jeep tires and rims on the trailer

I'm building a trailer now. I have a dexter torsion axle. I am putting elec brakes on it. I am using my 17 inch Jeep wheels and tires that I took off when I put my 35's on. I am using an adaptor for 5 on 5 - 1.5 inches thick with a large hub hole. Yes they will not be hubcentric like the jeep...

    M101 CDN/M416 tongue mod question

Waste of money and time to run it all the way back. You don't gain any more strength. Just put a receiver on the back and run your front hitch where a normal hitch would be. That saves a lot of weight and money on that long 2 inch or 2.5 inch box tubing that would probably weight in the...
