    Overlanding With Toddlers Discussion Thread

My two little ladies are 5 and 3, like to go off-roading as they say. It’s a blast to have them come along and their enthusiasm is infectious. My 5 year old has recently drew pictures of our adventures this past summer. I can’t wait til spring and summer to get them back up in the San Juan’s again.

    Help me decides between a 1997 FJ80 Landcruiser and a 1999 Lexus LX470

I bought a triple lock 97 stock in March with 114,000 on the clock, for 14 And I thought it was a deal. Most 80’s have more miles and priced much higher . If you can confirm the mileage and the owner has receipts for the work, I would lean 80. Drive both see what you like -

    Photography on the trail

I second the I overland because of photography. I shoot the canon format. I also enjoy medium and 4x5. Looking to incorporate both film and digital again. Both are very fun and each give me a different thrill. Especially dark room printing. :grinning:

    Developing LF film WHILE overlanding?

Thanks for filmomat that looks awesome - I am getting back into the film life - that’s helpful- Oh the pvc with 4x5 works well with just the pipe opened on both sides rolling in a tray.
